The Project

LIFEHYGENET is a project that aims to generate clean electricity from the use of kinetic and potential energy currently wasted in the distribution networks and potable water supply, through a modular power generator system built at pilot plant level.

The project will be implemented in Mieres del Camino, in Asturias (Spain) and is led by PRODINTEC, together with the partners: INGEMAS, SERVO SHIP S.L.; Ayuntamiento de Mieres and FAEN.

The project is co-funded by the European Union through the LIFE programme in the field of Politics and Environmental Governance (life ENVES000695).
